Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Shopify App (the "App"), provided by Keylogic Infotech PVT LTD (the "Publisher"), collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you install or use the App as a Shopify merchant. It supplements Shopify's own privacy practices and applies to data processed through the App, not your entire storefront.

Who We Are

The Publisher is responsible for processing data described below in connection with app operation. Contact details appear at the end of this policy. For questions solely about how Shopify handles platform or checkout data, please refer to Shopify's privacy policy.

Information We Collect

• Shop and merchant data made available via Shopify APIs when you authorize the App (for example shop domain, plan, localization, staff identity where applicable, and integration metadata needed to run campaigns).
• Configuration and content you create in the App, including various promotional and essential storefront features, styling, schedules, placement, and embedding preferences.
• View tracking and analytics related to views, impressions, clicks, dismissals, errors, performance, and product usage. We do not use it to profile consumers for advertising unrelated to delivering the App.
• Technical and operational data such as request logs, timestamps, coarse device or browser indicators, identifiers needed for debugging, fraud prevention and security.
• Cookies or similar technologies where required for session management, security, or aggregated analytics dashboards you access inside the Shopify admin context.

Storefront Customer Data and Targeting Rules

In order to provide advanced targeting features (such as displaying widgets based on a customer's VIP tags, first name, or total spend), our application may access basic shopper data locally within the shopper's browser when they visit your storefront.

Important: This Personally Identifiable Information (PII) is processed strictly locally (client-side) to evaluate targeting rules. We do not transmit, collect, or store this shopper PII on our servers or databases. The only data transmitted back to our servers from the storefront are anonymous, aggregated analytics (such as widget views and clicks) which contain no personal data.

How We Use Information

• Provide, personalize, troubleshoot, and improve App features described on our marketing site.
• Deliver storefront experiences you configure (various promotional and essential storefront features).
• Analyze aggregated performance trends to optimize reliability and product development.
• Provide merchant support and respond to legal or security inquiries.
• Meet regulatory, audit, contractual, and Shopify partner obligations.

Lawful Basis and Merchant Responsibilities

Where GDPR or similar laws apply, we process data necessary to deliver the contracted App service, legitimate interests balanced against your rights, or consent where expressly required. You decide what messages and offers you show shoppers; you agree that you obtain any required disclosures and lawful bases toward your customers for such campaigns.

How We Share Information

We rely on subprocessors (for example hosting, databases, observability or email) who process data strictly to operate and secure the App. We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the service. We do not sell personal information in the ordinary sense of that term under CCPA-like definitions.

International Transfers

Data may be stored or processed in countries where our infrastructure resides. Where transfers are restricted, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses or equivalents) compatible with Shopify's ecosystem requirements.

Security and Retention

We maintain administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of merchant and operational data. We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes above, to resolve disputes, meet legal retention periods, or as described in Data Deletion. Uninstall workflows are described there and in Shopify Partner documentation you receive at app removal.

Your Rights

Depending on your region, you may have rights of access, rectification, portability, objection, withdrawal of consent where applicable, and erasure subject to Shopify's platform constraints. Requests can be routed through Shopify where required and through our contact channel below for App-specific holdings.

Children

The App is not aimed at minors and merchants should not configure campaigns targeting children in violation of applicable law.

Changes

We may update this policy to reflect legal, product, or operational changes; the "Last updated" date will indicate revisions. Continued App use after material updates constitutes acceptance where permitted by law and Shopify policies.
